Sunny Willow Swim Club: Voted “Best Private Pool” by Montgomery Newspapers and The Philadelphia Inquirer.
Welcome all new members to Sunny Willow Swim Club, and welcome back to all returning members. The season is off to a great start. The weather has been hot, the pool is cool and refreshing, and the snack bar has something for everyone.
Tube night has always been a big attraction on Tuesday nights. New this season while the kids are enjoying their tubes, the moms are bouncing their way to a great workout. Thanks to Kathy Stokes, an exercise class using big bouncing balls takes place down by the soccer field. Of course, water aerobics is back by popular demand, too. I suggested the class take place in the diving well for a real workout!
I hope to see more of you at the next adult social. If you’re not familiar with the theme, you should do yourself a favor and read the posters. Last year my team won the boat races, but got disqualified for a minor technicality - we didn’t have a female in the boat. It’s a great way to meet other members and talk about how you used to be able to do that particular activity, for example the limbo. For some of the activities, I suggest bringing or wearing a bathing suit.

Up Coming Events:
Teen Night – Sunday July 13, 7:00-10:00 PM. $5 at the door. Ages 6th grade to 16 years. Bring your friends and have a great time. Admission includes the pool, DJ, pizza and lots of fun!! (pool closes at 7:00 PM for general admission).
Vendor Blender – Sunday, July 13, 1:00-5:00 PM. Cost is $10 per table. If you are a vendor and want to sell your product, please sign up at the office.
Adult Night – Saturday, July 19, 8:00 PM -12:00 AM. $10 pre-admission fee, $15 at the door. Finger foods, beverages, music games and lots of fun. Invite your friends!! Sign up at the front desk (pool closes at 7:00 PM).
Swimming A Champs – Sunny Willow will be hosting this championship swim meet on Friday night August 1st (pool closes at 5:00 PM) and Saturday August 2nd. Feel free to come and cheer on SW Gators! It is advised that due to the large number of guests, that you take your pool chairs home prior to the event.
Movie Night – August 12th after tube hour (rain date-Aug. 19th).
Free popcorn and soda. Pull up your lawn chair and enjoy!! Movie suggestions will be taken at the desk closer to this fun event!

July 7-11 Swim Lessons – Session II 10:00-10:30 a.m.
July 15-18 Swim Lessons – Session III 10:00-10:30 a.m.
July 21-25 Swim Lessons – Session IV 10:00-10:30 a.m.
*Private lessons are also available…check at the office.
Weekly Events:
Water aerobics – M W F at 2:00 PM. This 30-45 minute class is open to all adults who are willing!
Exercise class in the grass – Tues & Fri at 7:00 PM. Bring your exercise ball for a great workout. No sign-up is necessary.
Fun Fridays – 2:00 PM each Friday. Lifeguards plan a fun activity each Friday for the kids. No sign-up is necessary.
Adult Swim – For those 18 and older. Monday through Friday- 2:00 and 3:30 PM (15 min). Weekends and Holidays- 2:00, 3:00, and 4:00 PM (20 min).
Tube Night – Tuesdays 7:00-8:00 PM.
We Need YOU!!! Please consider running for the SWSC Board of Directors. Elections are held at the Annual Board Meeting, Sunday August 31st at 3 PM.
