President's Message
Sunny Willow Swim Club: Voted “Best Private Pool” by Montgomery Newspapers and The Philadelphia Inquirer.
There was a great turn out for Volunteer Day which was held on Saturday, May 9th. After nine days of rain, my concern was that everyone would rather stay at home to clean and do repairs. Fortunately, we had lots of help and accomplished all the projects on the list.
There were projects for every age and talent. Picnic tables were tuned-up and are ready for new ketchup spills, winter elements were pressure washed from the concrete, and the pools were prepped for water. At one point last year’s towels turned into this year’s cleaning rags. Water will be flowing into the pools by the end of this week and ready to go for Memorial Day weekend!
With all the projects in high gear we were able to carve out a little spot on the upper deck for swim team registration. Summer really is on its way!
